Property Fraud Alert by TRIESHIELD is a free service available to you through the Clay County Clerk’s Office. When a document is recorded in a name that is being monitored at your request, an electronic notification (alert) will be sent to you to determine the legitimacy of the recording. The document in question could be a lien, deed, mortgage, order or judgment. If you suspect fraud has occurred, the Clerk’s Office and local law enforcement may need to be notified so action can be taken. This service is done in partnership with local government agencies to protect property owners from fraud.
